The team of ICCS will develop a machine vision module and industrial robot for the sorting of used textiles based on the material of the fabrics. Our role in this process is to provide the needed textile materials for testing, as well as appropriate data and information, until the system is ready for implementation.
Once it is ready we will test the system for our existing sorting line, and we will provide the ICCS team with our remarks, modifications and possible changes to ensure its best use.
We envisage to use the new, automated system developed by Theseus H4C as the main tool for the sorting of used textiles based on the type of fibers (thermoplastic, natural, mixed fibers).
